I didn’t know if we’d ever get to taste Mama’s sandwich chili again, but Victoria hit it dead-on (after some trial and error, I know). I ate at Peggy’s Restaurant all of my life until the place shut down, and I’m willing to declare that this is as close as you’ll ever get to Mama Peggy’s chili. Mama never made it at home much, so I thought it was possible I’d never get to taste it again. Kudos!
