July 4th

Kevin came in for the 4th and I went over to his house. We had hamburgers and hot dogs with homemade chili, slaw, mustard and onions. Best sandwiches I’ve had since Peggy’s went out of business.
Kevin left out for Atlanta at 10 P.M. I sat out on the porch and watched the fireworks from the community center. I had a front row seat. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. I guess because I haven’t ever been that close before.
I was sitting out there in my night clothes and without my wig. If anyone had seen me they wouldn’t have know who I was anyway! Ha!
