Basic, quick, easy and really, really good! A moist and tender baked chicken dish. Perfect for when you're hungry and short of time!
Ingredients
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Duke's mayonnaise
- ¼ cup yellow mustard
- 1 pkg Pepperidge Farm dressing mix
Instructions
- Make a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard.Roll chicken breasts into mayonnaise and mustard mixture. Then roll chicken into dressing mix.
- Place breasts on pan lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 – 60 minutes depending on size of chicken breasts.
What is pepperidge farm dressing mix? I have seen pepperidge farm stuffing mix, which is seasoned bread cubes/crumbs. Is “dressing” mix the same?
I believe Mama Peggy referred to the Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix as “dressing mix”. Where we were from in North Carolina, the terms were interchangeable. It always seemed to me that “stuffing” was considered a form of “dressing”, but not the other way around. But, to answer your question, yes, I’m pretty sure she meant the Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix.
