This strawberry tea recipe is cold, tart, and goes down easy. Sweet and fruity, but not cloying.
We’ve added two versions of the same recipe here. A “quick” version, which is made from powdered tea, and an “unhurried” version which is made with Southern style tea like what’s common in North Carolina. They’re both good, and the unhurried version is just as quick if you already have tea made up.
With the powdered tea version you don’t really taste the tea. It just keeps it from being too sweet, like Kool-Aid. But with the brewed tea version, the tea cuts through enough to give it a crispness. They both have their appeal.
